LISA BEASLEY TEAMS UP WITH LAUGH FACTORY CHICAGO TO PERFORM FREE COMEDY SHOW TO CPS TEACHERS
Lisa Beasley’s Teachers’ Appreciation Comedy Show will be Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at the Laugh Factory Chicago, 3175 N Broadway, Chicago, IL 60657. Doors open at 7p. Show starts at 8p. Virtual option available.
Lisa Beasley is bringing her new comedy experience to Laugh Factory Chicago to show her support for teachers who are fighting for safe working conditions. The show will feature Lisa Beasley who is known for her appearance on HBOMax’s South Side and her impersonations of characters like Margaret Thatcher inspired from The Crown on Netflix.
Following another round of viral videos that hit the social media accounts of Lisa Beasley (@lisabevolving) impersonating Mayor Lori Lightfoot, CPS teachers flocked to the comment section to thank the Chicago-based comedian for providing some comedic relief during a very stressful time.
As a parent also being affected by the ongoing CPS and CTU negotiations, Lisa Beasley wanted to offer teachers and parents alike a much needed laugh. In response to a request asking for venue sponsorship, within hours, Curtis Flagg, who runs Laugh Factory Chicago, offered up the venue for a Wednesday night on January 12, 2022 in support of a comedy show for CPS teachers. Chicago4Real will offer up their live streaming platform to provide a virtual viewing of the show.

Lisa Beasley’s Teachers’ Appreciation Comedy Show will be Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at the Laugh Factory Chicago, 3175 N Broadway, Chicago, IL 60657. Doors open at 7p. Show starts at 8p. Tickets are free for CPS Teachers and $20 for the general public. All patrons must provide proof of vaccination that matches the name on their ID prior to entry. This show is 18+. Mask required.
